Surgery Day
- Stay Duration: We recommend arriving the day before surgery and staying 1–2 nights post-operatively depending on the procedure.
- Discharge: Most patients are discharged the same day 2-4 hours after surgery. Deep plane facelifts are usually discharged the morning after.
Post-operative Check-ups
- Initial Review: Usually within 7–10 days after surgery. Patients may either return in person or, if suitable, attend a virtual review.
- Follow-up Visits: Depending on your recovery and procedure, follow-up appointments may be scheduled at 4–6 weeks and again at 3 months.
Suggested Length of Stay
For optimal comfort and recovery, we recommend Facelift patients from outside the local area plan for a at least 4-night stay around the time of surgery. One night stay is sufficient for almost all other procedures.
