What does a successful facial surgery actually look like?
For Mr Mrinal Supriya, the answer goes deeper than the result in the mirror.
In this video, Mr Supriya explains how he measures the success of his
work, starting with what matters most: his patients feeling genuinely
happy and at ease with their decision.
Beyond patient satisfaction, he talks about his technical benchmark:
results that are subtle, natural, and above all, authentic. Surgery
that doesn’t announce itself. A transformation that lets patients feel
comfortable and confident in their own skin, not like a different person,
but like the best version of themselves.
Transcript:
So clearly, the satisfaction and happiness of my patients with their results are an important factor. But technically speaking, for me, a good surgical result does not shout, whether it’s a facelift or a rhinoplasty. I judge success by subtlety.
Now, I have got a lot of patients where their relatives and their friends and their social circle might say that they look rested and refreshed, but they don’t know exactly why. So my role, shaped by years of NHS and international training experience, is to protect identity, not to replace my patient’s identity. So for me, the best results are the ones patients stop noticing but quietly enjoy every single day.
