Mr Supriya has held senior NHS leadership roles including Divisional Director of Surgery and Clinical Director for Head and Neck Services at University Hospitals of Northamptonshire.

He currently practises as a Consultant ENT and Head & Neck Surgeon with a particular interest in robotic head and neck surgery and has been involved in the introduction of robotic techniques within NHS head and neck surgical services.

Previously, he held consultant appointments at St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, London, and Ninewells Hospital, Dundee.

He has also contributed to the training and development of the next generation of ENT surgeons through his involvement in higher surgical training programmes for Oxford Deanery.

He completed higher surgical training in Scotland between 2006 and 2012, training in Aberdeen and Edinburgh and spending a year undertaking fellowship training in Melbourne, Australia.

Following completion of UK specialist training, he undertook further fellowship training in Australia and the United States, gaining additional experience in advanced head and neck surgery, robotic surgery and facial surgical techniques before returning to the UK as a consultant surgeon.

As part of his facial aesthetic training, he spent time with Dr Andrew Jacono, an internationally recognised facial plastic surgeon whose work has influenced contemporary deep plane facelift techniques.

His Approach to Deep Plane Facelift Surgery

Mr Supriya performs a composite flap deep plane facelift technique, where the skin and underlying soft tissue layers are mobilised together and deeper retaining ligaments are released to allow comprehensive repositioning of facial tissues.

The aim of the technique is to restore facial contours whilst preserving natural facial character, movement and expression.
