In this video, Mr Mrinal Supriya explains the cost of a deep plane facelift and how it compares to other facelift techniques. He discusses what affects pricing, why the deep plane approach is a long-term investment, and what is included in the total cost at British Face Clinic.

Transcript:

So, I have decided that I would like to explore a deep plane facelift, and I would like to understand what the cost is and how it compares to other options.

A deep plane facelift should ideally be a once-in-a-lifetime procedure. If performed properly by an experienced surgeon, the results should last indefinitely. Of course, this does not mean that your face will stop ageing altogether, but ten years after surgery, you will still look noticeably more rejuvenated than if you had not undergone the procedure.

Because of this longevity, a deep plane facelift is usually more expensive than other facelift techniques, such as a skin lift or SMAS lift. This difference reflects the additional time, skill, and expertise required. For instance, a skin or SMAS lift can often be completed in just a couple of hours under local anaesthesia. In contrast, a deep plane facelift typically takes twice as long, requires general anaesthesia, and involves more advanced surgical training.

For younger patients in their late twenties or early thirties, a SMAS lift might be suitable and will naturally be less expensive. However, a comprehensive deep plane facelift, which often includes both face and neck rejuvenation, represents a long-term investment in your appearance.

Many patients also choose to combine their deep plane facelift with other procedures such as eyelid surgery or a chin implant to achieve balanced, natural results. The total cost reflects all of these factors and includes hospital fees, anaesthesia, and any follow-up care.

At the British Face Clinic, the quoted price includes everything — the surgeon, hospital, and anaesthetic fees, as well as six months of post-operative care. Any complications or minor touch-ups within that period are also covered at no additional cost.

In general, a SMAS lift may range from around £3,000 to £5,000, while a comprehensive deep plane face and neck lift typically ranges between £8,000 and £12,000, depending on individual needs.
