Laura Livesey: After rhinoplasty surgery, how long will the results of the surgery actually last?
Mrinal Supriya: A successful rhinoplasty will last for the rest of your life. So in the vast majority, by which I mean more than 90% of people in my practice, it is a one time life event.
You have the rhinoplasty, and that is it.
As I said in my other videos, there’s a small minority where they do require revision surgery for a minor persisting defect. These minority patients are those who have a significantly deformed nose where a lot needs to be done. A lot is required or desired by the patient.
But in the vast majority, which is over 90% of patients, it is one procedure for the rest of their life.
