In this video, Mr Mrinal Supriya addresses a common concern among patients, whether a deep plane facelift is something to be afraid of. He explains why, in the hands of a skilled surgeon, the procedure is safe, comfortable, and capable of producing long-lasting, natural results.
Transcript:
With something like a deep plane facelift, the term itself can sound a little intimidating. So, should you be scared about having a deep plane facelift?
No, you should not be. There is no reason to feel frightened if you have chosen the right surgeon. Of course, if you are expecting a true deep plane facelift but your surgeon is not properly trained to perform it, then it is natural to worry that you may not achieve the results you want.
This is why a detailed consultation with your surgeon is essential. You should fully understand what kind of procedure you are having and who is performing it. The only real concern you should have is whether you are having the correct surgery, performed by a qualified and experienced surgeon.
Like any surgery, a facelift carries certain risks, and you will be given detailed information about them before your procedure. In my practice, I have not had any major complications so far, which should be reassuring.
A deep plane facelift performed by a competent, experienced surgeon is a very safe procedure. It is painless, performed under anaesthesia, and you will be completely comfortable throughout. Our anaesthetic consultants also work within the NHS and are highly experienced, prioritising your safety and wellbeing at all times.
With the right approach and an appropriately performed deep plane facelift, you can expect an excellent outcome that meets your goals and restores confidence.
