We asked Mrinal Supriya if there is anything to be scared of when considering rhinoplasty surgery
Laura Livesey: I think anybody considering surgery has some fear. Should you be scared when you’re considering a rhinoplasty surgery?
Mrinal Supriya:
If you have a rhinoplasty after a realistic discussion with a competent surgeon, there is nothing to be scared of.
The problem arises if the patient has an unrealistic expectation that has not been clarified in the preoperative consultation with their surgeon. As far as the procedure itself is concerned, it is virtually painless because of the general anaesthesia. In the recovery phase, you will not have any significant pain at all…
The recovery and everything should go pretty well as long as you have had a very open, realistic discussion about what to expect and if both you and surgeon agreed to that, you will end up having a very satisfying outcome from the surgery.
Please do not feel scared. Do not hesitate in taking the next step in contacting our services and calling the number to book a free consultation. That way, I can go through all of your concerns with you.
