A lot of people tell me they have considered various facial treatments. They might talk about it at a dinner party for years but never actually go through with it. So, what is the risk of not moving ahead with a deep plane facelift?
The key thing to remember is that a facelift is a lifestyle surgery, not a life-saving one. There is no medical urgency to have it done.
That said, almost all of my patients who have had a facelift under my care tell me the same thing afterwards: they wish they had done it sooner. Many regret waiting so long because the procedure has given them renewed confidence, helping them face personal, professional, and social situations with greater energy and happiness.
In essence, they do not regret having the surgery, but they do regret the time lost while deciding or worrying about the outcome.
So remember, while it is a lifestyle surgery, when performed by an experienced surgeon and done properly, a deep plane facelift can restore confidence and help you live your professional and social life in a much more fulfilling way.
